As part of the Battle Creek Salmon and Steelhead Restoration Project, this particular portion of the project is paramount to the state of California’s effort to protect the fish population and add to their longevity. Located in the Northern region of California, in the Folsom area, Ohio Gratings products were needed to provide walkways, stair platforms, and treads to the viewing area in both the Battle Creek and Eagle Canyon Diversion Dam areas. Ohio Gratings worked closely with Cody Builders to construct a series of stairs and platforms that would be ideal to connecting the cliffside walkways and lower viewing areas on this project. A SlipNot® slip resistant surface was provided to ensure safe travel from the upper levels to the lower levels in times of wet weather.
