LIVE Design Group was selected to design the new event center for the First Church of Pearland. The design included a round 2 story café with aluminum sunscreens and some straight sunscreens along the windows in the front of the building. The design originally called for a CMU trash enclosure, but since the louver trash enclosure would match the sunscreen, the design was changed to match the the trash enclosure with the sunscreens. This is all aluminum with a powder coat finish. OGI supplied the sunscreens and the trash enclosure for the project. First Church is on a very busy street in the city of Pearland Texas which is a suburb on the Southeast side of Houston. The round café area is really a highlight of the building and the lighting along with the sunscreens really make the church stand out on the very busy street that runs through the center of Pearland.
