A lightweight, low-maintenance alternative to bar grating

Aluminum plank offers a lightweight and attractive flush-top walking surface that maximizes foot contact and user comfort. You can opt for a smooth, solid surface or choose from a variety of punch patterns that allow air, light, heat or moisture through. In addition, we offer an ADA-compliant diagonal pattern that is wheelchair and high-heel-friendly. We offer three types of light-duty plank grating: Smooth Top, Snap Lock and Standard. This series exemplifies our superior light-duty plank grating solutions, combining performance with ease of installation.

When the Metropolitan Sewer Distric needed to upgrade a crucial water treatment plant in St. Louis, we provided more than 45,000 SF of light-duty aluminum swaged bar grating to enhance the safety and functionality of twelve water clarifiers. Nearly thirty years later, the materials we used are still in service today and continue to play an integral role at LeMay Wastewater Treatment Plant –the fourth largest wastewater collection system in the US.
